Sand Away – an aid to removing sand build up in the hindgut

Description

Feeding 50 grams of Psyllium husk per 100 kg bodyweight for 5 days in every one month will help to remove any sand or dirt that may have accumulated in the hindgut. It is particularly important to do this if you horse is receiving restricted amounts of pasture or hay each day

Psyllium is used to help prevent sand colic by stimulate sand drainage from the intestines.

Sand Away mix has combined the 50g per day of Psyllium Husk, with a pro biotic for gut health and anti inflammatory properties, to reduce any irritations or inflammations, all in an easy once a day, for 5 day treatment.

Dosage Rate for horses.  100g per day for 5 days.  Recommended as a once a month treatment, particularly when grazing on sandy ground, or when feed is scarce.

Dosage Rate for Ponies.  70g per day for 5 days.
